Currently a graduate student at the University of Oregon, with Darren Johnson. My areas of research interest to date have focused around trace collection in real waters—target species include; heavy metals, rare earth metals, radionuclei, oxyanions, and simple organics. The problems I am most passionate about center around sustainability.
I take a holistic view of problem solving, I think understanding the people working on the problem is an integral part of finding a solution. It is important to me to have a cohesive and positive work community.
